Yes,  the last couple of posts hit it on the head for me.  Sonar does "Kick Butt" as a DAW.  Imagine how bloated Sonar might become if it attempted to add features that Vegas has.  I'd much rather have better Staff View and keep the video functions right where they are.  Maybe I'm getting old and stubborn, but i like my workflow with Vegas/Sonar.  Vegas handles any video issues i run into and Sonar does my music.
