In X1, Is it possible to copy my channel fader and pan settings into the channels Send.   I often need to setup amonitor mix for musicians or myself and it would be very handy to just copy the main fader/pan settings on channels and apply this to an aux Send mix as a starting point as my main mix often up and running and I want to copy these settings to a monitor mix as a starting point.
 
Basically i'm looking for the "copy all channel faders and pans to Send #x" setting.  Does this exist? 

Not that I'm aware of.

Don't know about X1 but in 8.5.3:
 
Select track, Copy; un-select events etc. and select Automation in the Copy dialog box.
 
Make a blank audio track. Paste the automation into the blank track. Make sure the blank track has the same Aux sends you need.
 
Right-click any node in the automation envelope and choose Assign Envelope and assign it to a Send. For example, right-click the fader envelope and Assign it to Aux Bus whatever.
 
When you're finished cut it and paste it back into the necessary track.
 
Sorry, not as intuitive as it could be but it works. Doesn`t really take that long actually. Maybe someone has an easier method.

I'm not bashing Stoons, but your method would involve creating an envelope where none previously existed.

I'd start by creating a new "monitor" bus (assigning it's output to a spare pair on your interface)

Then, select all your tracks (or the ones you want in the monitor mix) and insert a send on these to your new bus all in one go.

Then in track view set your send volume/pan to the same as the track volume/pan.

Of course - if you DO have extensive automation in any track then this automation should then be duplicated on the sends.

I can't think of a quicker way, other than doing it via your busses - run one out for drums, one for bass, one for guitars etc. Far less to worry about, and if it's only for a headphone/monitor mix, then who cares that the balance isn't exactly spot on?

Actually, no need to create anything. Just copy and paste existing automation. Which can be done in track view :-)

Remember also that it's possible to set the pan of a send to match that of the track - that potentially solves one issue.

Yep - just right click it and select "follow track pan"

Again, if it was me - I wouldn't get hung up at all about pan positions for a headphone/monitor mix.

In those tracks you would simply "set your send volume/pan to the same as the track volume/pan". No need for cutting and pasting anything if it was just a static level thruout the track.

Nonetheless, I doubt any of this advice is very useful if we`re talking about a large project. If the OP`s question was to simplify taking the settings of say 48 tracks and applying the basic volume/pan settings to a Send then I`m not aware of any easy method either.

Personally, if I was going to do this often I`d set up a template where every track has the Fader linked to the Send`level and the Track pan linked to the Send pan via control groups. Would save a lot of grief in future projects.
