Hey guys,

If you'd find them useful, below is a d/l link for Drum Maps I created to the following patches in EWQL's Platinum Plus.

You would need to route them to your VSTs and corresponding channel.

**********************************************

Here's a quick way I found to do it in Drum Map Manager:

Select the DM you want to work with in first window.
Select first Keymap in 2nd window
Shift+End to 'select all' down to the last one
Shift+Control on any Arrow of whichever parameter you want to change (This will change that particular value for all the keymaps at once)
Save DM.

**********************************************

If you can think of a better way of doing things, please let me know and I'll edit accordingly.

Will do some more for other VSTs when I have some time to spare.

Works great. - thanks you so much!!! should remember though that the drum map doesn't make a sound but controls the articulations...

@Samhayman - is this how  you 'work' - having a midi channel for notes, another then for articulations?

Cubase style articulations are not far away in Sonar ....

Hi Elffin,

Yes they are the Master patches.

And yes sorry I didn't go into the detail! - I would have 2 tracks, for e.g. 1st Violins

Vlns 1 KS
Vlns 1

Vlns 1 KS - is routed to the corresponding Drum Map
Vlns 1 - is routed to the VST as per usual.

I've watched the video you mentioned. The only difference is I like to keep the two tracks on top of each other so I just drag-select the two, hit Alt-3 and I have both in the PRV in an instant. (In the video, the KS and patch tracks are kept in separate folders which I don't find as efficient for selecting the two tracks at once.)

Just a small note coz sometimes it catches me off guard - sometimes in the PRV, the Drum Map would need to be 'refreshed'. Say you have Vlns 1 in the PRV, then you select the two tracks for Vlns 2 and hit Alt-3 for the PRV - you might need to click on the KS Track inside the PRV for it to change to Vlns 2 KS. It happens very rarely on my system but it does - so I thought I'd point it out.

Glad you found them useful :)
