I have question for someone from Cakewalk, do you plan to creating new modules for ProChannel? PC2A is great comp and I hope you are going to create another as good emulation. Your PC4K stuff is not very competitive in sound with other companies. Especially ProChannel EQ can be a much better quality. Just my 2 cents...

I talked to the local rep a while back and he (and I) were all for emulating Roland stuff - the chorus echo etc.  Hopefully that will move up the food chain at Cake.

The PC2A is great, the FET is good.  the SSL is OK, tho the bus comp is very good.  And I have no problems w/ the EQ - it is very good in my estimation.

The Concrete Limiter is also a great tool IMO

It's my understanding that with the new Pro Channel in X2, you'll be able to insert any VST effect you want into it. This opens the door for many possibilities with third party plug ins.

I am very happy that Cakewalk implements console emulation and I hope it will be better than Slate or NLS. We need more high quality integrated plugins - and if Cake can do it, or can hire someone to do it {like Softube} Sonar will be definitive mix solution. Seems like Overloud is one of the greatest decision Cake ever made {along with POW-r integration of course}. And if they implements those great emulations directly into ProChannel system, there is some anti-piracy protection potential.
