Nice observation James. The anchovies were inspired by the ghosts of weird fishes along with the ingredients in Worcestershire sauce. Everything in this song was inspired from here in some form.

Ya, I guess. To me vocals or talking could be closer perhaps in volume (could be my speakers also listening to it). Thought the first (female) talking was too loud, got better as the song went on, but still maybe a little more tweaking on those volumes.
I am not sure though so that is all I can say about it.
 

The first vocal clip stands out a little bit because of the background and timing. I had at one point in the mixing process, most of the vocals adjusted all over the place to keep them all equal volumes but it sounded too flat. So, by keeping them all at the same settings, they tended to naturally move forward and back allowing for more depth.

I'm in. Like Bapu, on first listen I kept wanting to hear the banjo. But it was there all along; my bad for expecting chords on a one string instrument. Doh!
