Curse you cclarry,  I was using the $600 price tag for MultiRack as my excuse to stay away from Waves plugins.

Now I'm going to be broke for another year while I build a Bapu size collection of Waves plugs to use with my live rig..

Would it be un-professional to threaten to ban you unless you gift me all the waves plugs I need???     Yes?  oh well..   That's another year of living on just beans....

I put this post here just as a follow on from the Waves discussion even though its hardware too.

I've scrapped my idea of adding on to my Presonus products like the RM16ai and the CS18ai control surface. In fact I sold my RM 16  yesterday for a profit. I got it at a special price which is no longer available.

I'm moving to Digigrid/Soundgrid system which will provide me with a more comprehensive product range that allows much more flexibility and lets me capitalize on my large Waves plugins investment.

I get my Digigrid products late this week or early next; an IOS (Soundgrid I/O + Server) and IOX I/O.

For control surface I'm going with a Raven MTi2 27" touch screen. So far its been exclusive to the Mac OSX but  they're just about to release their first PC version of the Raven software using Pro tools (Each software version is specifically tailored to a software package). Next they're doing Cubase and Nuendo then Sonar down the track. When I talked with one of the tech team there was no hesitation in letting me know that Sonar is definitely on their radar for development.  As I have PT 12 I'll be able to get into the swing of it as well as use it as a normal touch screen. If it works as expected I plan on a second one at years end.
