2 cables, the kind they gave me in the store (Monster), no adapters.

Is the "delta" control panel just the Audiophile USB Control Panel, or something different. The latter doesn't have faders, but shows the following info: Analog Input, Analog Output, S/PDIF Output all selected, S/PDIF Input not selected. (Is it significant that in Options/Audio/Advanced, driver mode is Use Default, and not ASIO (Control Panel says ASIO Driver Version 1.0.0.5). Also Share Drivers With Other Programs is not selected; should it be?) Sample Depth is 16 bit, Latency is Low (options range from Very Low to Low to Medium to High to Very High).

I ran the Wave Profiler, it didn't appear to change anything.

Please note that although my computer is picking up the Audiophile, I'm now getting no signal out of the Clavinova. (This is in addition to my continued inability to hear anything, even the Home Studio sample tracks.) When I follow the Home Studio instructions for recording digital audio, and I get to the step of opening the In field in the track, it just says "None" and I can't open it. The other day I was able to open it and find the Audiophile, now it's disappeared.

The M-Audio Delta Control Panel is documented in the Audiophile's manual. You should consult that.

There are MIDI tracks and Audio tracks. Don't confuse the two. They are not the same. If you're not hearing MIDI tracks, then check Options-MIDI Devices. If you're not hearing audio tracks, then check Options-Audio.

When you say you're not getting signal out of the Clavinova, do you mean an audio signal or a MIDI signal? Does it play through its own speakers?

You're making this MUCH harder than it should be.

Welcome to the forum.
I don't think you're cutting in on anyone, since you're the first to post in this thread in over 8 years.
So, you're plugging the keyboard's audio output into... something to record it, then plugging that into your sound card to record it into... whatever program you're using?
I think you should skip the step of recording onto something else first, and just plug the keyboard into your sound card/audio interface. You'll get less noise in the track.
Did you select the correct input in your recording software (which is?)
Did you arm the track for recording and set the recording level? Then click the Record button?
Please describe all the steps you are taking to record.
Some more information will help, too; what version of Cakewalk software are you using?
What's your computer's operating system and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?
What sound card or audio interface are you using?
