FYI, there was a CW forum before 2003, and I was on it.  They reorganized in '03, and it became this forum.  Not really very helpful.

Post the date when you joined the forum with your user name in chronological order.

No. It says it in the left margin on every post. This is a huge waste of time.

While I also don't see the point, as like you, my thought was that this information is located in every post an individual makes, your comment that "this is a huge waste of time" did make me laugh a little.  Was it more of a waste of time than say reading the thread title, clicking on the thread, reading the OP's post, hitting the "Reply to message" button scrolling down to "Quote message" and then typing " No. It says it in the left margin on every post. This is a huge waste of time.", hitting the "Post message" button, and then coming back to the thread later and checking to see what others thought of your post ?

Seems to me a waste of time to respond to a thread you have no interest in - just saying. :) By the way, I don't consider it a waste of time, it's not like my time browsing these forums is what I would consider "productive" time.

I am indeed having a little laugh and intend no real slight - it's more one of those funny observations that make you go "Hmmmmm....."

As for my "Joined forum date" it's right there on the left hand side next to my little bear picture.

Day One.

.. and the NTTP discussion groups before then.   Ah, the days of Ted Perlman's rants about Intel vs. AMD, Windows 98 vs. XP, etc, etc.
