Surely they will improve on the “Ghosted Envelopes” Consept! 
Will there be automation lanes or the ability to un-ghost envelopes so we can see all envelopes at once like 8.5? 

Yes, there are automation lanes in X2. You can click a button and expand all envelopes each to their own lane.

I know we all read about it before the Webinar, but seeing it in action was just one of several jaw dropping moments last night.

Hopefully they will allow Mute and Solo of individual envelopes, too. I submitted that as an enhancement request some time ago.
