Awesome!!! It did kind of end abruptly. I expected it to keep going longer after the acoustic and vocals kicked in. Nothing wrong with the unexpected though. It's definitely a musical journey.Fantastic piece of work, the mix sounds polished.

Thank you Bluzdog, but no it's not supposed to end abruptly.  There's more to it, but you heard most of it I think.  It's almost 8 minutes, so you were close - ha ha!  It's a SoundClick player issue and they do not appear to care too much about it.  Not sure why I'm shocked about that...I guess I thought customer flight to SoundCloud might matter a bit more than it does to them.

The bummer about SoundCloud is that my employer blocks the site - which is why I stopped trying to review songs here at work when it's slow, because everyone uses SoundCloud anymore.

LOL...my employer blocks soundcloud too. I'd like to hear the part I missed.

Like the sound. I hear bits and pieces of Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, and even King Crimson. More modern influences, too. Enjoyed some of your other stuff on SoundClick, too.

Hi, Tim,

Very cool piece of music with lots of interesting elements popping in and out!

I agree with BBB, I immediately thought of Yes and Floyd right off the bat, which is a good thing in my opinion.

The vocals and harmonies were excellent, all of the musical performances were top-notch, and the mix sounds right on the money for progressive rock.

Great stuff, thanks for sharing, have a good one!

Impressive... This is "true" song, I'm almost sure - when you put soul in music...
And such an interesting effect in 1 place.
(sorry, my English)

BBB - awesome you could mine those influences out of this work.  It's true, those are huge influences for me, especially Floyd and Crimson.  Thanks.

Bob - again, awesome that you heard those in my work.  I am glad to hear about the vocals too, because I was a little worried on this one.  I can't go back and fix anything on it since the tracked out version was stolen years ago.  And you used the "P" word (progressive) to describe it and I couldn't be more pleased.  Thanks man!

Kostas - your English is better than my math - ha!  Thanks for listening.

If I hadn't known the premise of the song I might have still guessed "trippy" as a description. It was heady and an adventure to listen to. I'm not sure I would want to be part of that adventure, even so , I could feel it.The music was top notch in every way. I like songs that take the listener on a journey and this was definitly that. Expertly done!

Thank you Starise.  Honestly, this experience was quite formative.  I realized that I had gone too far with LSD, and that it might be messing with my mind, as well as acknowledging that this social phobia I was fighting with was not just going to "go away" like the flu.  I still partied and did drugs, and I won't say I've outgrown all that, but I made major changes in my life for the better.

So, it was an important adventure.  Thanks for listening and your kind words.
