This thread should go to the coffee house, because it is going to quickly get out of hand.
First of all, everyone is entitled to an opinion, whether it is good or bad.
I happen to disagree with the attitudes of those that can't tolerate negative comments. When I say "negative comments" I am not referring to disrespectful name calling or demeaning comments toward another individual.
I suppose that my attitude makes me intolerant of those that are intolerant of negativity. See what I did there?
If it were not for "whiners" and those expressing negative opinions, then nothing would ever be improved. For example:

5. On a much smaller basis, Sonar would not have real-time Synth recording and AUX tracks if a number of passionate users had not continuously and passionately "whined" on this forum with negative comments about Sonar lacking this feature.
I take a tolerant view of negativity and frequently learn from it. Often a user will post on the forum about something that I have not experienced. This prompts me to try and reproduce the issue. If I can determine that the user is using the software incorrectly, then I post a response on how to solve or workaround the problem. If I can reproduce the issue, I report back to the user that their experience is reproducible and should create a Problem Report. Often, I will create my own Problem Report.
Bottom line is that being intolerant of other peoples views and even their approach to expressing those views is just as bad as the person expressing their negative view.
