Best soft synth render quality - freeze or bounce to track?

Is there a difference in audio quality between these two methods of rendering a soft synth's output to a 24-bit audio file in SPLAT? I usually just leave the soft synth as MIDI when I mixdown a song but I have so many soft-synths and CPU-hungry effects on my new project that I want to give my processor a break and convert them to audio. Just want to be sure I'm getting the best end-product audio quality buit my old ears ain't what they used to be and I can't tell if there is any difference or if they are identical.
Thanks,
Bill

There should be no difference either way. There
may
be a difference between "Fast Bounce" and "Realtime Bounce" if the synth is buggy.
