Sonar platinum...
Is there a way to print out the contents of my plugins etc?...that is, the titles...
I want to share/show the titles to a friend the vst's/etc I have on hand.
I could take pictures, but...there's quite a few.

I downloaded "VSTInventory" by bitflipper.
Wow, quite a handy utility. It saves the results in an Excel spreadsheet.  I have well over 400 plugins (VSTi's and efx)
I discovered a few that I forgot I have!

 
When I run the .exe I get the following error message :
 
ExcelClass_Intialize  :  Type mismatch
 
And : 
 
VSTInventory :  Unable to establish communication with Microsoct Excel.
 
 
I have Excel 2010 installed.  Plugins are on my D: partition.
 
 
 

The problem could be specific to Excel 2010, I don't know. Those kinds of errors are unfortunately all too frequent when talking to MS Office components. Word is even worse. Unfortunately, I lost the source code for that project when my computer was stolen and haven't gotten around to rewriting it since, so have no way to look into it. Sorry.
 
You can, however, have the utility output to a text file rather than to Excel. Append -TEXT to the command line. The data file can then be imported into Excel.
