Hi Folks, need a wee bit help here. I have an Excelsior 940 midi accordion and have been trying to separate the right and left hands. For example Strings on the right hand and piano chords on the chords & bass buttons on the left. Now on the accordion the right hand is midi ch 1, chords is ch 2 & bass is ch 3.   I can get the different sounds coming through the different channels ok but not similtaniously if you get my drift ?
For example reason strings on track 1
edirol super quartet on tracks 2 & 3.
I can hear the strings on ch 1 fine but have to click on track 2 to get the piano midi. I can't get the strings and piano playing at the same time.
Any clues ?

Try this
Insert the TTS-1 ( or any multi timbral synth)
Select the instruments you want to use for each midi channel. Use the GUI and save as a pre set.
Insert 3 MIDI tracks
Assign the outputs off these tracks to the TTs-1
Change the input of each track from OMNI to each channel you need per channel.
Make sure the MIDI input of your Interface is selected in MIDI options.
You may have to mess with the track echo input. It should be highlighted.
Those 3 tracks are ready to record or play the soft synth live now.
