No, they move relativley, in other words they stay in phase with each other (hopefully!) :O).

Regarding phase-coherency, some luck is required. It depends on how cleanly the transients have been captured.

I remember having to go back into the tracks after my Audiosnapping was complete and cut and nudge some stuff that had been shifted out of phase. This was prolly SONAR 7, though, so things might have improved.
