I brought this up before but did not get an answer. Sometimes the Pro Channel EQ does not do anything. In the current case, the kick drum is a WAV file created from SD3 and bounced to another tack. I can turn the EQ power switch on, it lights up, and turning knobs changes the graph, but the sound does not change. This is not the first time this has happened to a track. Ideas?

UPDATE: Oddly, when I clicked in the FX bin to add a different EQ since ProChannel was not working, the ProChannel grayed-out. Apparently it was inactive the whole time but did not get grayed-ou until I clicked in the FX bin. As a work-around, I dragged the audio to a new track, but that seems like a silly thing to have to do.

THIS IS TYPICAL BEHAVIOR OF ALL THE MODULES OF THE PRO CHANNEL ON MY SYSTEM. ITS VERY UNSTABLE IN THAT REGARD. THATS WHY IM SO VOCAL ABOUT HAVING THE OPTION TO UNINSTALL IT. 

IM JUMPING ON THE X2 BANDWAGON IN HOPES THEY FINALLY GET THIS BUG WORKED OUT BECAUSE AT THIS POINT X1 IS BASICALLY UNTRUSTWORTHY AND UNUSABLE IN THE CONDITION THEY LEFT IT.

Like Bub, I too do not trust the Prochannel anymore and no longer use it.

I have found that it randomly turns itselft off from time to time which changes my productions and renders it useless.  I certainly won't be purchasing any additional prochannel modules when I can't trust that they will stay on.

I've never seen any of the symptoms you guys are describing.

All on/off functionality works as expected.

wow..  I've never seen the pro channel, "turn itself off automatically."   the dials are a little fidgety.. sometimes that eq..  you have to roll over it a couple of times, if you care to see the frequency.....

that's probably been recognized, and I expect it to be good and tweaked in X2...

There were issues early on with the PC not enabling until a preset was loaded. This was fixed by x1b I think. That said I have read that some still have issues but the enable button on the console view is supposed to correctly show if it is enabled or not and allow a quick change. I have not had trouble with the PC for a long time now.

The PC on/off situation has never officially been addressed afaik because cake has never been able to duplicate the problem. It was sort of fixed with one of the quick fixes when they implimented global on/off, but when it was rolled in to the D patch the fix stopped working.

I get the EQ on/off issue alot when freezing/unfreezing soft synths. The PC2A T Type Leveling Amplifier can be a bit random too, sometimes just fails to repsond at all. This better be this is fixed in X2!
