a very old Cakewalk DAW used control+ right arrow, calling it "jump to right side of all" - it advanced the measures toward the end of the song without stretching them larger. I can't find a similar shortcut in x1. Thanks.

To go to the End of your project: -

Ctrl-End

Thanks. I want to advance any number of measures but not necessarily go to the end. I'm not sure there is a shortcut to do this?

Best way to do that would be to set some marker points throughout the project, and then you can click, "go to next marker" and quicky get to any of those marker points.

ctrl+Page Up moves timeline one measure at a time towards the beginning and ctrl+Page Down goes towards the end one measure at a time. I use it all the time even though I use a controller. Very handy!

Quick marker placement just hit 'M' on the keyboard. It works as well during playback but won't ask you to input a name for the marker.

Keyboard shortcuts to next / previous marker are: -
Shift+Ctrl+PageUp
Shift+Ctrl+PageDown

Respectively.

But I don't know of any way to go to a specific point by inputting M:B:T. If I'm not mistaken, one could do that in previous versions of Sonar but not in X1. I could be wrong though.

There is of course the default Sonar keyboard shortcut - "G" which is "go to time".
(Shift - G goes to beginning of a clip) (Ctrl - G goes to end of a clip)

You just enter a bar number, of the project, and it goes there.
So . . . two key commands: 1)"G"   2)"enter bar number"

Wow. Thanks for that. Now why on earth have I never come across that?!?!?

Thanks noynekker!
