It's been a while since I've visited the forums - and especially the song forum, but here goes...
When I was 13 I started a band called
Bugs. We were never very good, nor did we try to be, but people around my parts seem to love what we did. We played everywhere all the time! When I was 15 we split up.
For some weird reason, we got back together for a one off event after 14 years of barely even speaking to each other. We lived different lives. Some of us continued with music, some never touched their instrument until we met up at the old rehearsal space at the youth center where we started out. Playing two songs on this aniversary event for something we were involved with in high school added truck loads of fuel to the fire and we couldn't stop rehearsing and even booked some shows.
This year, it is 20 years since we started the band and we are finally releasing our debut album. Some of the songs are from back in the day, some are written sometime during the past 3 years. We are still not a very good band, but people somehow seem to enjoy what we do, although it is quite juvenile and we are, ahem, old-
er. We recorded this our selves and mixed and mastered it as quickly as possible. This isn't very good, so we are betting everything on the charm.
