Hello All,
I have X3 and would like to upgrade to Platinum.
How do I 'import' the Soft Synths I've been using into Platinum?
Thanks,
Marsi

You don't "import" them.  You just set up SPlat to find the VSTs in the same place that X3 finds them in.  You probably won't even have to do that since the upgrade installer will take care of it.  Legacy DX stuff will be available through the Windows registry.  Again...you won't have to do a thing.

Hello All,
How do I "tell" sonar x2 to stop at the end of the measures I've recorded and make it the 'end' of the song, both in midi format and exporting to wave or mp3?

Thanks,
Marsi

If you don't have any data on your tracks past the end, it will stop. If there is stuff recorded past where you want the export to end, delete it. If you don't want to delete it for some reason, select on the timeline the section you want to export.

I see this come up quite a bit and though I don't have this problem, I believe it may be time For Cakewalk to consider adding an end marker (and a start marker as well).

Agreed. There are various ways that unwanted data can get moved out of sight down the timeline, and we've all exported something that turned out to be 80 minutes long with 78 minutes of silence at the end (at least I have). It may seem like nothing, but I think the issue needs to be addressed.
