Cactus...all this time and I never knew that. But since I tried it on a few different midi files it does NOT pick up channel 10-Drums.Actually doesn't even open the drum tracks. BUT, the drums playback. But cannot be found on any track? Almost like it is hiding the rhythm track? I tried soloing each track one ata time and after doing this the drums NEVER came in? How weird. But if I play the track back normally, the drums play? Totally freaked, Guess I cannot use it this way. 
What am I missing? 
 
J*****Just to add to the weirdness if I add a midi track, any track #, the drum track appears out of nowhere? Really?

The "C" Channel,  "B" Bank and "P" Patch are in 2 places. 
The inputs "I"  and VST instrument ( see little piano icon)  are also in 2 places and found down at the bottom of the left hand Console 
 

Thanks Cactus but that was th first thing I tried. Have tried it again a bunch of times. Of course you do not know what you have selected because the menu item does not change. But I have opened and closed multiple times and tried many times selecting and then selecting again, etc. 
But as soon as I add a midi oe audio track anywhere in the project the drums appear? Very weird. 
 
Also they are "there" for a nanosecond" when the midi file opens, then they disappear? I checked track manager and all boxes are checked to show.

If it is only one project behaving this way I would consider making a fresh project and copy evrything over. One should not have to do this but in the past I've had to do this when a project became haunted,,, well it was Halloween! 
 
What you can do is save each track as a template as well to speed things up. What ever is causing the Haunted drum track should be left behind.. 
 
Or how about this.. 
Insert a new midi track
Get the haunted drum track to show and copy past it to the new midi track.
