Here's an In Case You Didn't Know tidbit:

Everytime you "bounce to clips" with an audio track, it creates a new audio file in the Audio folder for that song.

This renders the previous audio files unused by the project.

To save space, find out which files they are and delete them.

Go to "Project - Audio Files..." for a list of used files. Any not listed there are safe to delete.

Also remember to empty the Picture Cache folder regularly.

Thanks Steve,

That got me to tweak the idea a bit.. You can do a 'Save As' to a new folder and X1 will copy all the latest audio with it. Then delete or zip the old project folder for backup.

Thanks Steve. And thanks Albert for the mod of the original tip.

Yep, just resave under a new name/folder and SONAR will automatically parse out the unused files.

... then, if the previous project folders are not needed, just delete them with no worries.

Of course this all assumes you're using per-project-audio-folders. If you're not, Sonar places all of them into one big folder making things a bit harder to manage.
