Absolutely. You can even play white noise through your speakers, plug a mic in and turn input monitoring on and see the frequency response of your room/speakers at the listening position by watching SPAN in real time.
I posted some instructions some time ago...ah, here they are. The pictures show the old version of SPAN (the thread's 4 years old) but the new version works fine as well.

Ok I Found it so here come the dumb questions the reading across the bottom I assume are hertz and level across the sides are volume levels?  IF that is correct my bass line is not even making it to 0 is that bad?

No, not really.

I've just run it on the master buss of a project which to all intents & purposes is "mastered" and even this doesn't make it to  anywhere near 0dB
