I just recently thought it would be a good idea to start using my old CS1x synth for midi recording. So far so good but I can hear every midi note on off what I play.  Is this common? No such a problem with pads, but anything staccato and wow ticks galore. Is this something I'll have to live with?

I cranked up the output level and can't seem to hear it anymore.
