This is bizarre that the only thing that changed was that he went from an Emu soundcard to the Saffire soundcard. That should make little difference. I think we're missing some piece of information that would shed some more light on this.

Hi Daveny and jonboh,
That`s what I think too,off course.........
To me it would be the "straightest" way for Jonboh,
if he is "working" only with one (!) experienced forum member together
and is discussing with one member in very short steps till the problem is solved or they
are reaching a one way road.
Straight and only one to be sorted.

That's pretty cool that the Focusrite guy jumped in on the Sonar forum to help him out. I'll keep that in mind when I buy some new equipment. 

Sure wish he'd come back and tell us if he fixed it and how he fixed it.
