Cloning Virtual Instrument Tracks

If I want to clone a virtual instrument (midi and audio track)...what is the fastest way to do that? Thanks.

Select both tracks in the track pane. Right click, Clone track... does the job.

Does this also clone the instrument in the rack?

No. You need to insert another instance into the rack then route your cloned tracks accordingly. Don't know of a faster way than this.
