64bit is the future. Step into it!

I would only recomend going 64 bit with a new computer. Alot less headaches. If you are getting a new computer, the I highly recommend going 64 bit Win7 and 64 bit X1. I have 12 gigs of ram, and have X1 (and 8.5) is very stable. The occasional crash, but for the most part it's great. You won't look back. I run everything in 64 bit, at 24/96 and I'm loving it. If you have an older computer, I would wait on upgrading to 64 bit.

I have to agree with A1, 64 bit is the future, I did it on a new computer rebuild that included Win7 and X1 all new, plus you can use all of your RAM (in my case 12 G, new).

I've run both 64 bit runs a lot better than 32 bit in terms of stability. It took me 12 installs to finally get it to run smoothly and 64 bit still runs better and I am not even including with plug ins. If you can run 64 bit and nothing else.
