Can any Spec Analyzer or Meter be used as an Envelope Follower, in Sonar to write Automation...  Or can only the Cakewalk Analyst be used in this way?

The analyst is great, but this is a really cool Analyzer, and I wouldn't mind giving it a shot at writing automation..  http://www.voxengo.com/product/span/

And also..  I would like to try and follow the meter of a compressor or gate to write automation as well...

Is any of that possible?
