Hey Kenny this has some super parts in it.  I really like the sounds you used and the overall mood of the piece makes me want to hear a whole album like this!

The only crits are - The second half of the song has a bunch of section which all sound really cool, but I'm not sure how cohesive they really are.  Maybe this is exactly what your going for though.

Also - This would sound 100 times better with a real choir :)

This is an awesome piece, please keep molding it!  I love it

Kenny, I'm not sure what I just heard because I didn't expect to hear it here.  Definitely out of the box and very interesting.  I liked some parts better than others.  That can be expected in a 5 minute song but I really respect the fact that you did this.  Really nice work.

LpMike75 ,
I appreciate you giving my tune a listen and sharing your honest views we me
when all is said and done my primary goal is to improve my music .
I would really love to do a whole album of music like this and it is very possible that is the direction I am heading in
for that to happen it is my honest opinion that I have to get better at a few things along the way
I'm over here working on it ….I have been making some progress
+1000 on the idea of using a real choir ….
I might be able to make that happen if I beat the pavement and hit up a few local colleges ..
the second part of the song is what I had started on first ….
the first part of the song is what I spent the most time on and in my haste to post my newest work in progress
I happened to add the second part of the song before it was fully matured and edited ...
the reality is …it's all good as far as testing out the waters musically and getting a feel for where I need to develop and improve …thanks

Hi Warren ,
I sure do like the looks of that Tele in your avatar
you know , I always find it to be a tough thing when it comes to posting my music ...
I've always experimented with coming up with my own thing …so to speak ….
it is not always what people want to hear ….I certainly understood that fully with this song ...
the good news is that I'm always striving to learn and build upon the sections of the song and my playing that people do want to hear ..myself included ...
I'm still a work in progress and I hope my next musical offering will be more satisfying   ...
thank you Warren  I'm glad you liked some of the musical sections of my tune

I like it but it seems like a lot of different ideas thrown together for an incomplete whole. Maybe if you could explain what your after?

I like all the ideas within this. To me though, there doesn't seem to be any continuity. I do like how you can create different motion for the different parts rather than just motion supporting other motion.

All in all, well done!!!

Apparently, this has been posted for quite a while.  I don't know how I missed it.  What a piece --- an symphonic number with guitars and synths!  Where does the creativity come from?  You deserve kudos just for attempting a number such as this.  I look forward to hearing more as you continue to work on it.

We'll never come up with that "thing" that everyone wants to hear.  You stepped away from anything I've heard you do in the past and that is ballsy AND it sounds good.  Just different, but, isn't that what you were looking to do? That is a Nashville USA Custom Tele.  It is fun to play.  I was a Gibson only guy for most of my life and now I don't even have one.  Fender and Spector plus acoustics hang in my room now.  I'm about ready to add a Gibson, though.  I can't wait to hear your next tune.

Yes ,  I can understand why you would ask me to explain what I was after …

I'm OK w that

I recently decided to share the video end of things of what I have been going after musically with this composition

this is what I saw inside myself while I was composing this music …..
bear in mind I could of done acoustic guitar and harmonica ….yet, this is what I really felt

disclaimer, I'm sure there probably will still be some context issues …but hey  it's all good

Had a listen and I get what robbie is saying. It feels like a bunch of ideas put together but they are not cohesive a few of the stops it felt like I just changed the channel. On the other hand the guitars had some Great tones to them throughout which kept me listening to the end. I don`t know how to be constructive as I`m not a songwriter but If I were you I would look at turning this into about six different songs.

Hi Freddy,
yes, this tune was posted a little while ago and it pretty much has had a pretty slow start on this section of the  forum,
I would probably conclude in general for that matter , that this type of thing is simply not every ones cup of tea

I ask myself this question all the time " why would anybody want to listen to me ? ...
what do I have to offer them musically ?"
imho ,  I feel these are very important questions for one to ask ones self ...
in truth the only thing I have to offer musically is myself
a few of my additional answers have included …
everything thing in life seems to have a cost , on the flip side of the coin there is the whole ..
every new musical growth experience  one chooses to attempt to accomplish seems to have some sort of a pay off.

Over here on my end ,  the creative end of things is probably one of the biggest attributes of an individualized expression that I cherish the most when it comes to me doing my music.
since my current situaltion is i  work alone …
I allow and give myself permission to strive to produce and create good music …I don't always accomplish that goal...
I have found that good judgment when it comes to getting good at music is the offspring of having exercised a lot of bad musical judgment ...
the good news is nobody got hurt and hopefully some new musical lessons were learned and applied

I just do the best I can and hope somebody enjoys or gets something out of the music I'm currently doing ….

thanks for the listen and kind words

Kenny
