As for the rest of the guys, I can't imagine how they find time to do this stuff if they are to ever accomplish anything and actually learn to use the tools they compare. At some point, one needs to move on and start doing something with those plug-ins...
 


You mean we're supposed to learn how to USE them??  I thought we were just supposed to BUY them!!
 
Your point is very well made.

It's just a fun little thing. It's not meant to be taken seriously...I would prefer to talk about plugins, recording and guitars myself. What amazes me is the time some people spend talking about sports. Those people are crazy.

All of the plugs on these lists are top notch and exceedingly useful. Although they might vary in both price and transparency/coloration none of them suck. And some of them are dirt cheap...if not free! What on gawd's green earth is there to complain about? Be as skeptical as needed. But none of these recommended plugs would be detrimental to own. And most...if not all...would prove advantageous in your tool kit. No one is forcing you to buy ANY of them. Get a friggin grip.

I don't follow gear slutz unless I'm searching info on something specific. Recently Sample modelling. I think polls like this just serve as a useful heads up. I'd not heard of MJUC, despite the thread on here which I've read through this morning. I'm not in a position to be spending any money at the moment, new monitors are now the highest priority (being forced to listen in mono or cans). But seeing the cost of a character Compressor (MUJC) at 25Euros, and to think what I spent on BOZ +10 when I had some money. I'm glad to been pointed in that direction. Something for when my paying work picks up again.
