This is usually a bit quicker than the fx forum too as it has much more traffic.

Exactly and I'm already familiar with you guys so I know what to expect. Stumbling into new forums is always a little weird. Also quite a few of you own BFD (you guys actually turned me onto the program in the first place) and this place is more likely to know how it all works with Sonar whereas elsewhere it's a mish mash of various DAWS which can get confusing for a n00b like myself. Anyway, it's all installed now so I'm gonna read the manual and see what little insights it provides. Cheers, guys.

hmm... So it seems I have 4 downloads in my account under the Digital Vaults section but I think I may already have some of these from when I bought and updated Eco. The first is an application installer (think I have it), then GrooveMonkey Xmas Freebie (definitely downloaded something like that but not sure if this is different), the third is Eco Kits for ZP1 which I'm certain I don't have so I'll snag that and the last one is Artist Groove mp3s which I don't think I have but doesn't seem necessary. You guys know what this stuff is? Should I just snag it all for the sake of being thorough? Also under "Free Products" there is a License manager download (which might be an update but I just used the license manager and it worked) but the things I'm curious about is the Clapomatic and Orca downloads. Anyone know what those are?

Beepster, you can display multiple MIDI tracks in a single PRV... at least you could in SONAR 8 and previously! Not sure if/how that may have changed in X1...

Thanks, keith. I'd really like to be able to edit both at the same time. I will just use the slots in the regular version of Eco for the cymbals but it'd be cool to have the whole cymbal pack available at once along side the Rock Legends kit. At the moment though I'm trying to figure out what the heck this Eco kits for ZP1 is. :-/

I think I'm just gonna send the FXpansion guys an email about these updates. I'm all kerfuzzled... same as last time. I wish they had little descriptions on what this stuff is.

Okay... I think I got that figured out on my own. This is a nice sounding pack. I sure as heck wouldn't pay $200 for it but well worth $40 it cost me to buy it and get it sent here. I did a side by side test to compare it to the Rock Legends cymbals and they are indeed better (with far more hit options) but those Platinum Samples cymbals sure do give the Z-Pack a run for it's money... especially considering it was free. Ya'll only got a couple days left to snag the BFD Eco deal with the Rock Legends kit. That kit makes Eco shine.

Those cymbals are nice, huh.  I don't think it's something that's overly obvious when compared to better kits, but when listening side-by-side they seem to be "crystal clear" to me.
 
FWIW, the ZP1 is the Zyldjian Pack 1 (there are other packs available).   After I installed regular Eco the ZP1 showed up as unregistered, even though I had been using it in Eco DV.  So I hadn't tried the cymbals outside of Eco DV yet.   Then again, one of the things I wanted with this was the ability to pick from a wide variety of cymbals all at once.  So I'll probably just continue to use DV for that reason.   Hard to beat the cost for what it does!
