I like to always have my PRV grid settings to 16th notes when I move notes with the mouse, but every time I change snap settings, no matter what snap value I choose, the PRV grid resolution changes to 1/4 notes even though I specifically set it to 16 notes via view->grid resolution  

  EDIT: It also does this any time I change the event draw duration, no matter what duration it is. 

  I can't figure out where Sonar gets the idea to change the grid to 1/4 from, I can't find any global settings for the PRV grid in Sonar preferences.  

Anyone know?
