Yes, relatively new when you consider how many versions of 64 bit SONAR have been released.

As I asked in the first post, will the projects I'm working on now, be 32 Bit, or do they become 64 Bit ?

Old projects created in 32 bit SONAR will open in 64 bit SONAR as is. You can also open 64 bit SONAR projects in 32 bit SONAR.

Your projects will always be what you set them up to be in Preferences. Running 64bit Sonar is a behind the scenes type of thing. it effects.the program operation, not project sound quality.

I have one DX plugin wrapped with DXshell and it works very well in 64 bit X1. It is FX 3 Sound Stage.

I went 64 bit with Sonar 8. Sonar 5 offered 64 bit Sonar.

Projects are nether 32 bit or 64 bit. They are just projects.

I will no longer buy a 32 bit plugin.

Wow, seven years I had forgotten that, thanks. Being firmly rooted in 32 bit at the time, I must have blocked it out of my mind.

I take the opportunity to add some questions. With jwh's setup, will Sonar 64 bit improve stability? I have a bunch of 32 bit plugins, will JBridge do the job?

I think this is a good question for Freddie

Yes, it is.
