Hello,

i´ve got a big trouble finding my Guitar Rig 5 plug in in Sonar X1.

It works fine as an standalone. I updated all the paths to VSTplugins, rescan, reset and rescan again ... set the paths directly to the .dll files etc. etc. ...

My GR5 is a part of Komplete 8 - all the others synths and effects are present in X1 - only GR5 is missing.

(Once i´ve seen the GR5 in my Audio effects library - i tried to add it to audio track and it all falls down ´cos of some telebridge issue (what s an telebridge ??) - that was the last time i saw GR5 in Sonar X1)

Please, if you have any experience with this, give an advice cos i´m getting mad about Sonar X1 ... :/

Thank a lot

Pavel

Well, after some hours spent with reinstalling etc. i have now my GR5 in my Audio effects folder but it crashes the Teleport server every time i try to load the GR5!!

It only loads the main page of GR5 and then it crashes down with all the applications ...

I´t s not funny anymore and i´m thinking about getting back my money for Sonar X1 - i need to work, not to play more than a week with setup :(

Please have you any advices how to solve this ...??

Thanx a lot

that's strange =/
I also have komplete 8 and everything works great in X1.. =/

i assume you've got everything (both komplete8 and x1) up to date?

are you running 32bit or 64bit?

edit:
I actually reinstalled X1 and komplete on my latptop yesterday.
Just went with the default settings for everything..

..Don't remember if I maybe had to change the folder location for the VSTs, but other that that I changed nothing.

After this I just downloaded and installed the latest versions of everything with Service Center and... well. as I said. Everything works great.. :/

If GR5 is crashing teleport server (which is BITBRIDGE) then you must be trying to use the 32 bit version of Guitar Rig in 64 bit Sonar which is senseless. Use the 64 bit version of Guitar Rig and your problem should go away.

Typically on a default install 32 bit applications will be in "Program Files (x86)" and the 64 bit applications in "Program Files". The NI installers tend to keep the VST's dll in under these directories if you use the defaults. Make sure Sonar is scanning the correct paths.

+1.. if you're not sure 0f 32 or 64 bit version of Guitar rig 5 (5.1.0.2645 <latest update) check the dll file size.. in the
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Guitar Rig\64bit folder..
32 bit is 77.5 mb and 64 bit is 81.9 mb
