OK, here goes.
Used to work fine, then I reloaded Win 7 X64 Ultimate from scratch.  Reloaded X1 Producer Expanded X64.

Added Regedit changes to look just like:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\Tools Menu\Sound Forge Pro
ExePath             C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\Sound Forge Pro 10.0\Forge100.exe
MenuText           Sound Forge Pro
StatusBarText    Launch Sound Forge Pro
Type                   Wave Editor
Problem - Sound Forge opens from Utilities menu but no files show up in Sound Forge.

THE FIX! - Don't be an idiot like me and put a space in between Wave & Editor, just put WaveEditor.

Works great now, hope this helps someone else.

Yep, Sound Forge is a great editor.

And in case others need step-by-step instructions to edit the Registry...
