Nice overview of how those controls work together!    Thanks, Bit.

I grabbed it when this thread first appeared and I have been demoing it on some songs I am currently working with. Nice stuff!

Hi all,
I'm trying Kotelnikov plugin (1.0.7) and its brother Nova (1.0.8), both free, with latest Sonar Artist (21.12.00 B36 64x) and as soon as either of them is on I get audio drop outs. The strange thing is that it doesn't happen every time, but quite often. I've tried different solutions, but nothing seems to be effective. When they work, they are great, but this unpredictable drop out force me to turn them off.
Anyone has similar results?

Kotelnikov is pretty CPU-intensive, not uncommon for a mastering tool. Fortunately, during the mastering phase of your project, latency is no longer an issue and you can increase your buffer size and thus eliminate those dropouts.

You don't say WHAT different solutions you tried. Have you increased the buffer setting in your ASIO driver? What are your computer specs?

Bit of latency. Responds with a gritty, distorted ramp in extreme settings.

Very nice compressor otherwise. End result is all in the fine tuning.

As much as I don't need another compressor, this one is a keeper. They done good. Significant advancement over their TDR comps.

Playing around with this thing more, and got to give it a 5 star thumbs up from my microcosm.

My use of compression is crude and primitive. Mastering aside, how does it inflict sustain on a guitar after a subtle tuned Reaper noise gate in the chain.

Got to put it up there with Distorque's Vitamin C and Audio Damage Rough Rider, given my limited purpose and vision.

Really cool offering from the Tokyo guys.

I upgraded to the GE edition a while back. This is my master bus comp.
