Just starting to recover from a horrible week of the flu. No breakfast-type foods left for breakfast (made do with some leftovers). Right in the middle of some important file manipulation this morning the PC "loses" my main data hard drive (it just disappears!). After several failed attempts, finally able to get the system to shutdown prior to my leaving to work on a side-project. Go to complete a job started two weeks ago, deal with a couple of unforeseen obstacles (which meant working through lunch). Finish job; customer (a friend) is happy with results and hands me $100 cash which I didn't realize until later. 42 hours of work for $100? Really? Decide to talk to him tomorrow and go take my Mom to the store so she can get some groceries. On the way home I can see the freeway exit I need and I have to use the restroom the way someone who's had the flu has to use a restroom... then... *BLAM!* The right front tire blows out... So I pull over in the middle of a busy freeway exit that's dark and, needless to say, nowhere near a restroom. Knowing it was going to be a long, annoying ordeal to try and change the tire in my condition I decided to slowly run on the flat tire (completely ruining it) to get to a nearby mall parking lot (with a Red Robin within running distance). Two and a half hours later I finally get home (due to problems with the jack, getting the lug nuts off, not enough air in the spare, etc., etc.). Met my roommate (who owns the house) on the way in and gave him all the money I had from today and work last week to pay some back rent. Then I find he's got some news for me. His daughter-in-law and grandchildren will be moving here from Mississippi. Which means, I've got until June 1st to find another place to live! Just got the PC back up a few minutes ago...
So, no job, no money, everything's breaking down, not healthy yet and soon to be moving!
Yay, a wonderful day.

I'm hoping that today was the bottom so everything's up from here! This is getting ridiculous!
