  • CAN I INSTALL BOTH X1 64BIT & X1 32 BIT ON THE SAME COMPUTER???

I currently have Sonor X1d Producer 64 bit installed on my Windows 7 64bit OS laptop.  As usual there are a few 32bit plug-ins that I am having issues with.  I was going to install X1 32bit also on the laptop for projects in which I want to use the older 32 bit plugins.  Can I have both the 64 bit version & the 32bit version installed on the same laptop???  I'm assuing it will not cause any issues but I just want to make sure before I go ahead with the 32bit install and mess something up.

Also I have 64 bit drivers installed for my Edirol FA-101 interface.  If I install X1 32 bit would I have to install 32 bit drivers for the FA-101???  I'm also assuming I would not have to because my OS is a 64 bit OS and would require the 64 bit driver.

Thanks for any advice.

Yes.
And you will be able to install X2 32 and 64 alongside as well.

No the computer will throw up if you try install anything that is 32 bit..

Just kidding yes you can, the question is; do you really need to? Do you need the 32 bit version? I think you will never use it. All 32bit plugins (if you still have any) work inside SONAR X64 too.
