Does anyone know of a way to delete the reverb from tracks that have already been saved? I got all my tracks mixed and put on a CD but when I listen to the CD on a stereo I don't like the reverb. Is there any way to delete it and start over? Thanks for any help!

Just go into the Sonar project and delete the reverb from your FX bin or buses or where ever you inserted the reverb. Then export the project to a stereo wave file again..

Theres no majic button or pixe dust that can just delete a reverb from a mixed down stereo wave file. you cannot adjust the flour content in an already baked loaf of bread. Stereo  wave files are the same.

Your Welcome.

Sonar is Non- Destructive. So you can always make changes just as long as you have your project on your hard drive.

FYI: Back up every sonar session and project onto another hardrive. Hard drives fail and fsail without warning at times. You can lose everything and youll be SOL. Its best to always have  back-ups, this way you can keep one off site, incase of fire or theft. Then you have 2 back-ups in your studio.

Of course, fixing the problem in the source project is what you want to do, but there is an interesting new product out there that is designed to remove reverb from completed tracks.  The reviewers think it is not 100% perfect, but amazing nonetheless.

Still, doing what CJ said is the best thing and seems to be what you are asking.

Peace.

PS They tried it on an old REO Speedwagon album and nothing was left but a click track and somebody humming.
