I just have a fresh system installation, everything, including my X1 Prod Exp D (now I have SSDs!!!)... Everything went just fine but the SD3... Can't find the dll... Only the content files... What I should do to install only the dll without re-instal the rest?

Thanks.

Have you checked the vst folder?

So you checked your vst folder and there is no folder called "session drummer 3"?

If you're on a 64bit windows it should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Session Drummer 3.

Usually if you run the installer again, select custom install, deselect everything and look for session drummer 3 on the list and install that.

In fact there is a SessionDrummer 3 folder... But there is only the "additional content"...No DLL in there...

The installer should be the X1 release version not the patches, right?

Thanks again.

I thought x86 was for 32-bit.   So, for 64-bit:

C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Session Drummer 3.

Correct me if I have this backwards, but I don't think so.

You are correct Mighty Konrad.
BTW, there have been several threads about blown SONAR installations when trying to install just SD3. Hopefully this thread will not become another. If so, be prepared to perform a complete reinstall.

Strange, miner installed to  C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Session Drummer 3

Having said that I don't think it matters much.

If like me you have 32 bit & 64 bit versions of sonar you just need to make sure that the path is included in your 64 bit sonars scan directory.
Steve

Edit

Actually I just discovered it is in both "program files" & program files (X86)

I just have the 64 installed... Can't you just simply send me the dll? Will it work if you do?

Thanks...
