I continue to be plagued by this message. There are causes listed in the manual but if none of them apply, we're stuck right? Does anyone have the definitive answer or know what the cause is? Thanks - rev

"Disk full" is a generic message that might not actually indicate lack of disk space, but rather a read or write error due to a badspot on the disk. Run a disk test utility and give your drive a checkup.

Thanks, I knew it wasn't about space but I hadn't seen some of the workarounds before. In my case it's probably the one relating to high resource use.

I used to get this when running XP32 which seemed to indicate a RAM issue (lack of)
