I wonder if anyone else has this problem:
 
In either X1 Producer or 8.5.3 Producer, when I try to save a preset, in most cases the plug-in disappears and Sonar crashes.
 
This happens when I use the UAD-2 file menu on any UAD plug-in, but does not happen when I use the bit-bridge (upper) file menu for more recently-purchased UAD plugs (just got the Harrison EQ--awesome!).  I purchased the Neve EQs years ago, and cannot save or load any of my own presets without crashing.  However, I can load the presets than come with the software (they are visible in the preset name window).
 
Any ideas?

Probably.  I trying to figure out what combination.  I wonder if it could be that I have my presets stored in a couple of different locations for backup?  Could bitbridge be confused by that?

No problems here.  32 bit though.

My UAD-2 saved presets are going to the factory locations.  Bit bridge user presets go to the Cakewalk defaults. 

I use jbridge with my UAD. Seems to work a little better for me.
