I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you planning to buy a MIDI-controller??

What comes to audio interface, Quad Capture should show as your Recording and Playback Timing Master in ther Preferences dialogue, and it's ASIO driver should show in the input/output drivers list.

HI
I already have a A 800 Pro keyboard connected and it shows in X!.
Previously I was using the V Studio 100 and I added it in Edit>preferences>Midi>Control Surfaces and it was there as V 100.
I am now using polands Quad capture which does not show up but I think I can add it as ACT midi controller..
It seems to work.

But the Quad Capture is just an audio interface. Maybe I'm just ignorant but Isn't that a totally different thing from a control surface?? I don't think there's a way to make it show as a controller, because it can not create/send any MIDI-commands whatsoever.
What is it you want to control with the Quad? It has no sliders, no knobs...You can not automate it.

The quad is not a controller, as Kalle points out.  So it won't show up as one.  It should show up as a midi and audio interface (it does have a midi i/o, right?).

Yes, indeed it does.
