I used to find it very useful up until Sonar8, the fact that one could use Tab and Shift-Tab to move between input fields while keying in values in the Event Inspector.

Now if for e.g. I want to change pitch and velocity of a note, I have to click in "Pitch:" and then click again in "Vel:".

I know it's a small thing, but in a day's work, it would save huge amounts of time if one could just hit Tab to move from one input field to the other.

Thanks Chef for resurrecting this thread which got me to thinking why isn't it a sticky like was suggested above and caused me to look for it as I missed this thread the first go around - good tips!.
I did find it buried in a sticky in this forum (towards the bottom "Sonar X1 Tips, Videos and Resources”/Sonar X1 Tips Thread <redundant?>/Control Bar Tips) which begs a couple of questions:
Do we need that many stickies at the top of this forum?
-it seems crowded and cluttered  and not distinguishable enough from the rest of the page
Can someone please do something about this forum software?
-must I explain??
The thread was started Dec of 2010 – has anything changed in nearly two years?
-there have been some great suggestions
Why is it the simple things in life are so damn difficult to create/get done/fix/manage?
