Wow, is this for real? After shifting focus on X2, Cakewalk is back on track with more material for X1. See the blog for details... http://blog.cakewalk.com/...sonar-x1-key-bindings/ Now let's hope they stay on track and release X1e since X1's life cycle isn't over until the X2 fat lady sings.

Nice one skylightron,

I dl'd the PDF, as that is quite useful, but I don't think we will see the famous, "X1E update."  :-)

I do think that Cakewalk continues to use the phrase, "seamless genius," to describe X2...  This makes me thing.. "is it gapless, and do they know it, and are they willing to stand behind it?"

The mysteries will reveal themselves to us...

If anyone is interested, I have this as an Excel File, so you can add your own bindings to it

PM me.

I seriously doubt this has any relevance whatsoever to plans for another X1 update.   After all, it's not as though CW is going to blog about X2, and unreleased product, and blogs are usually done on a regular basis.  So...

Besides, for those that refuse to upgrade to X2 when it comes out, or those that simply aren't ready to, this keybinding list could prove to be a very useful thing.   Heck, I plan to upgrade to X2 but I'll still download the PDF.   Why not!

would love a list with explanations of what each function is capable of next to each item in the list for this as well as all the options for buttons in act presets. I bought a roland pcr 500 so using it makes more sense to me though I dig keyboard shortcuts as well but being able to remote control things from my keyboard is even more important to me

at least hyper link each item to a definition of that item for the more mysterious lesser known functions.

This is very useful. I downloaded the PDF and I know that I will use it often. Thanks for posting the link, Vince!
