had to rerecord some guitars that I dubbed down to stereo tracks (with 2 automation envelopes added) and I need to dub them down again without deleting all my automation work...Anybody have experience in this area? THX!

I have checked and unchecked all the boxes but alas cannot get the Clip Automation in a position to uncheck it. It is ghosted out and not accessible...

OK...I think I found something that works. For those that are interested I clicked on the "Layers" drop down from upper left in track view (i.e. View, Options, Tracks, Layers etc.) and clicked on, "Show Layers". This squished my Stereo track up above the automation I had. I when to delete a chunk and while not able to uncheck Clip Automation when doing it...The clip disappeared and my automation remained. (Ctrl Z if it didn't work as hoped;-) Peace...
