I got them when they first came out and use them all the time. I have a hardware 2000, and when I use one of its sounds (which I am very familiar with) in a project, I find it much quicker to substitute a dimpro track version than to record the hardware playing it back in real time.
In general, the samples sound like the original. I have only noticed one or two that are totally not matching. One thing that I find a little irritating is that all these dim pro patches have the same medium hall (or something) reverb added to them as an effect--whether the original proteus has reverb or not. I always shut it off, because I prefer to control the reverb for my projects in seperate busses, AFTER compression, etc.
That said, these patches in the main, sound like the hardware 2000 and are easy to use.
