I think if they offered public beta testing that it might help reduce the frusteration so many people have with the software by fixing many of the issues at beta time and then releasing a great candidate and after that would probably only require one or two patches and would leave a lot of Sonar users feeling much happier. Other DAWs offer beta testing why not offer it for Sonar?

Frankly I am shocked that they don't! There are thousands of people out there who literally love filing bug reports (myself included). I just don't see what the down side is. 

The early adopters are the beta testers.

Good to see glad that its not out in the open and more of a open public thing. With all of the reported issues maybe they should invite more beta testers to be apart of this. I personally want to see Sonar be the best DAW on the planet for everyone. I am campaigning for a better Sonar!

Yep most do. I think Cakewalk and Avid are the only ones that do not. Ableton's 64 bit version is a beta, Propellerhead does betas for every Reason release, Imageline has a beta going (and has for a while) for FL studio for Mac, Studio One had public beta testing and Bitwig is currently doing them too I believe. Its rare to see someone not offer one. 

pro tools offers free beta testing?,cubase offers free beta testing?
