It's a good start. I'd like to hear a melody on top or something that helps to add some more interest, just so that theres something new to hear.
From the mix point of view it sounds a bit covered. Brighten up the overall Sonics please.
Good stuff, look forward to hearing more of your stuff.

For a library piece..... it's perfect. Underscrore doesn't very often need to be the center of attention.

Good vibe, nice groove. Very 'backgroundy' as you said, since it doesn't actually go from-to anything. Picture a lot of fast-moving cut-to-cut video images of snow in a busy city setting.  Nice!

Very nice indeed!  It definitely would be good background music for video or pictures of a nice light snow shower.
