Hi, I'm having an issue with Media Browser where it will only open on Track View.
I also remember about a recent update that started allowing it to open on Piano Roll View, Staff View, etc.
 
Also I noticed that some projects will allow browser to open in every view, but other projects won't.

You can undock the media browser then drag it to a larger location.
By moving it around you will see a Blue shade appear on the screen. Simply drop it where you see the blue shade.
 
The track view is always there no matter what so its normal to see the media browser there.
For it to sit beside Console view though, you need to extended it. I've found undocking as mentioned previously works best.

I’ve just tried to dock Browser to the left side, and then back to the right side.
After this it stays collapsed in other views, and it will open if I press ‘B’.
The same occurs if I undock it or if I dock it bellow.
 
But on some projects I can open any view and Browser will be collapsed without any tweaking, and it will open if I press 'B'.
