Hello, Normally when i import audio, it arrives in Sonar at the Now Time marker. Currently, i'm importing tracks from a Zoom H4N's sd card and the tracks are coming into sonar way down the time line, in the 6000's and 7000's. I suspect it has something to do with the order/time location of the recordings themselves on the card, i.e: the later recording are further down the time line. How can i get the tracks to import at the Now time? Thanks for any assistance.

I'm guessing you record Broadcast waves on the H4N and you've set Sonar to import Broadcast waves at their time stamped position. If you want it to stop doing that, try to uncheck the little box in the preferences (Sorry, I can't give you the exact place in preferences where this box is since I'm not at my DAW, but you should be able to find it)

Yes, the killed me before I discovered what was going on.  Some purchased sound effects were importing to some weird time so far in the future that I didn't know where they went (like at the 30 min mark in what was a 4 min song!).  You may have to check a few places in Preferences to find this but once you do, you are good.  I THINK it is under Recording, but I am not at my music PC.

These settings are under Preferences > File > Audio Data. There are two settings to look for:

"Always Import Broadcast Waves At Their Timestamp"

and 

"Apply SMPTE Offset to Broadcast Wave Timestamps"

Yep, I am a happy H4n owner and this totally threw me at first...this is the fix to your problem
